Mission

Based on Gartner research, only 30% of companies that have deployed BI consider their deployments "very successful" - the vast majority are labeled "somewhat successful." Brief Profile of the Board of Advisors

• Ashok Malhotra
  

  Ashok joined the Advisory Board of MAIA Intelligence in May 2011.
  

  He has worked in the technology, industrial, office automation, life sciences equipment & IT and telecom hardware space, both in Indian and MNCs. Ashok brings two and half decades of experince of managing and building organisation from scratch including 11 years in a general management role in last role at Mettler-Toledo India. He brings wealth of expertise in sales/marketing, brand building, distribution and talent management, leadership development. He has transformed loss making entities into profitable ventures. He enjoys excellent relationships in the Indian corporate at senior managers level.
  

  Recently, Ashok has been advising MAIA Intelligence, an integrated Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting software and query analyzer product company.
  

  He advises Legasis (www.legasis.in) which is the area of providing IT enabled support solution for comprehensive managmenet of Legal and regulatory compliances, virtual data room and IPR support services.
  

  Prior to advisory roles, he was the Managing Director of Metter-Toledo India (www.mt.com) for 11 years and built the organization from scratch to the leading & profitable brand in the space of Industrial Weighing/Automation, Analytical Instruments.
  

  Before Mettler, held senior management positions with the Ascom, Bradma, and NELCO. He is a postgraduate from FMS, Delhi Ahmedabad and a B Tech from PEC, Chandigarh. He has done several executive management courses at Kellogg Business School, Harvard Business School, Insead and Indian School of Business Hyderabad.
  

  In addition to the above, Ashok is a board member at Swiss-Indian Chamber of Commerce (SICC) (www.sicc.ch) which help in facilitating and increasing cross border business between India and Switzerland. He is the President of Mumbai Chapter Executive Education for Indian School of Business, Hyderabad (www.isb.edu).
